Once again I have been banned from 606. My favourite part is that they give no explanation for it but they have sent an email saying my profile, only recently approved by the mods, was 'off-topic' this is a profile in which I stated I was Arsenal born and bred. This has led me to believe the BBC 606 boards are not a sports forum at all but instead are in fact a forum for the brainwashing of young minds.
I think the BBC believe if they can attract enough 16 year olds they will be able to mould them into non-offensive, humourless adults by the twin threats of pre-moderation and banning. In this way they can create the next generation of bland, safe broadcasters and the BBC will never have to go through the Brand/Ross debacle ever again.
The future is dull the future is beige.
Thanks for all the support but I'm afraid I can no longer be arsed with trying to get back on 606. I will probably keep scanning the boards (it beats doing real work) but I shall no longer be infesting the boards with my evil, subversive filth.
I will keep posting it here and on Dave's blog though. Incidentally did anyone notice that they said that both JJG and DP's comments were unacceptable? What did Dave ever do? Well apart from all the xenophobia, ignorance and condoning of violence masquerading as British grit? I always thought that was the BBC's core values.
And just to finish off this ill-focused rant: who exactly does necrophilia offend anyway? The dead? Well fuck them.

My inoffensive comment was removed (11 in 3 days now) all I said was along the lines of having to tell a mum what to say to her son who had asked "Why cant I go boff some corpses like JJG says" seemingly this was offensive.

I've just tried to join Skys, but they have currently suspended new member registrations.
Perhaps they have been tipped of by the pigs at the BBC?

If your after a new forum, Father Selley, (the royal) you could easily throw together a page with weebly and put a Nabble forum page on it. Free, easy, free, moderator-less and free: all the essentials covered.

Getting a new forum for a select few would be nice but, thinking about it, with everyone agreeing with each other, it could get a little dull. If it weren't for those bastard moderators, the beeb would be perfect! I could also post the Toys 'R' Us theme lyrics without hassle!
If Football365 has blacklisted you without you even having an account, it certainly doesn't sound any less totalitarian than 606. I can't stand SS either. Anyone out there know of an alternative?

I have never had an account on 606, but I always used to read the boards in the sole hope of seeing your articles JJG [+Daves].
Looks like I won't be going on 606 again, will just be using this blog.
Also, to people here who do use 606, could you advertise this blog to other 606 members? Maybe put it in your signatures like that 'goonersworld' prick does, or link the articles back to here?
Would be good for jjg to get some credit on his own website.
Actually, I just realised I have an account I made about a year ago, its ContrabandLD. Im gonna get it out of pre-mod and then help advertise this site. Its not like I'l give a shit when my account gets banned anyway.
I've had one or two ideas
since the mods seem to be targetting any new ID JJG creates, perhaps a few of us could create alternate usernames and post dull, uninteresting piffle until they get out of pre-mod. Hand the account details over and away we go...
Alternately, there are a few dites which are designed to allow people to surf anonymously, meaning the bbc would be unable to identify you as a banned user through your ip address - a couple of minutes on google should bring up the details ;)
Sadly having looked into sites which will mask my IP address my work blocks them all.
Dunno if taking over someone elses ID would work. Surely they could trace my IP address once I started posting from it?

Hey JJG, just found out about your silly banning from 606 (late to the party, I know). I didn't post there much but your articles were always good for a laugh. Guess now I'll have to content myself with posts from people whining about there being no steel and grit in the team. Oh well, at least you still have some online presence.
